A relaxing vacation in Altea
Like Benidorm and Torrevieja that dot the Alicante province of Spain, another molehill (as dazzling as a mountain) is Altea. The city promises a nomadic, pristine fare far from the madding hell of nightclubs. It’s not high on junkies. What it promises is a clean spectacle of cobbled streets with touch of the old world charm.
Altea is a virgin place that hasn’t been touched by a swarm of tourists yet and good god! It hasn’t.
The place bears a dignified look typified by a long white shore and warm turquoise water. In blue and white ceramic tiles, the Altean church is a massive monument. The Altean bay is indescribable in words. Be it the restaurants serving ethnic food or the craftsmen dishing out indigenous paints and crafts, it is all about the place itself. It does not look to match cosmopolitan binge and concentrates on its own local beauty and gifts (that it offers generously to tourists seeking relaxation)
