The Aurora Borealis- Take a Tour to Watch This Splendor of Nature

Aurora Borealis, destinationAuroras are basically natural displays of light when atoms of high charge collide together in high altitudes. These lead to the formation of beautifully glowing and colorful lights I the skyline in some particular high altitude regions. If there is a storm or if the pressure is lower than usual in an area, the auroras even descend lower as well. One must remember that moon phases and dust and pollution may affect the visibility of the auroras.

One of the most significant and splendid auroras are formed in Alaska and it’s called the Aurora Borealis (also called Northern Lights). They can mostly be viewed at their best from 11 PM to 4 or 7 AM into the next day. If you’re planning to take a trip to Alaska, do make sure that you keep track of the geophysical updates of that area so that you do not miss out on this beautiful wonder of nature and science. Other places where these Northern Lights can be seen wonderfully are Norway, Iceland and many other places.
